15 Home Remedies You Need To Know Which Can Save A Life


It is not everything you need to rush to the hospital. Hospitals are the best but sometimes all you need is knowledge.

1. Bee Sting.

If you’re attacked by bees or anybody you know is attacked by bees, kindly get yourself some onions and make a paste out of it and smear on the affected area. This is will not only reduce the swelling, it will also extract all the poison out of the skin.

2. Poison.

If you or someone you know mistakenly drinks something poisonous, quickly grind some charcoal and make a solution out of it and have the person drink it. This will calm situations till the person gets to the hospital.

3. Chicken Pox.

When someone is down with chicken pox, there is no need rushing them to the hospital for an injection because it will only increase the pox. Just let the person bath with OMO detergent, this will not only get rid of the pox quickly, it will also not leave any scars behind. Thank us later.

4. Getting Rid Of Scars And Tribal Marks.

If you have a scar or tribal mark you want to get rid of, just get yourself toothpaste (Pepsodent to be precise) and apply it on the scar all the time. With time, you’ll realise it is diminishing, till it totally vanishes. Sometimes it can takes over a year or two depending on the size of the scar but it will definitely disappear.

5. Ant Bites.

If you’re attacked by soldier ants and you find the pain unbearable or you have sores all over your body, just urinate and apply it on it. The ammonia in urine is good at neutralising the burn.

6. Sore Throat.

When you’re down with sore throat, just put some salt in warm water and gargle. Salt is known for killing bacteria.

7. Headache.

When you have severe headache, not migraine, bite into a chunk of lemon because lemons have the potential of shocking your brains out of headaches. If you do this and you vomit without any results, then it is a migraine not headache.

8. Stress.

If you’re stressed and need to relax especially if you have an exam the next day and it is stressing you out, just smell some peppermint and it will make you feel relaxed.

9. Hiccups.

If you get hiccups and it won’t go, just scoop out one spoon of groundnut paste and eat it, thank us later.

10. Mosquito Bites.

When you get swellings and itchiness from mosquito bites, just rub white vinegar on it. If you don’t have white vinegar, you can use rubbing alcohol, the alcohol used at barber shops.

11. Blocked Nose.

If your nasal passageways are closed and you desperately want them open, hold your breath for as long as you can. The oxygen deprivation will cause your brain to panic and open up your sinuses. It would rather stay alive than keep them closed.

12. Infected Cuts.

If a cut gets infected and you don’t have any antiseptic, use honey. Also, you can try heat and shea butter but make sure you don’t burn yourself. Heat kills bacteria, but burns will make the situation worse so be careful.

13. Bleeding Wound.

Is your wound bleeding? Get yourself eggshell membrane and put it on the affected area, the bleeding will stop.

14. Heartburns.

Having heartburns? Sleep on your left side, this will relieve you of the pain. Sleeping on your right side will aggravate the pain.

15. Getting Stench Out Of Your Room.

If there is some stench in your room and you can’t get rid of it no matter how hard you try, just boil vinegar. Afterwards, your room will smell like vinegar for some time and when it finally dies down, it will disappear with the stench.
