Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric will return to training on Wednesday as rumours continue to circulate around his future, according to AS.

Inter Milan are anxious to sign the Croatian international, but Madrid’s new coach Julen Lopetegui is insistent that Modric is going nowhere.

Serie A side Inter Millan are not ready to give up on signing Modric, who will start training on August 8 as had been agreed for several weeks following his World Cup exertions.
